A repeatable lighting check can help fleets identify faults before they become roadside or inspection problems.
- Walk around the vehicle with lighting switched on.
- Check dipped and main beam.
- Check indicators and hazard lamps.
- Check stop lamps with assistance or a suitable checking method.
- Check position, marker, fog and reversing lamps.
- Inspect lenses for damage, contamination and water ingress.
- Check reflectors and conspicuity markings for damage or obstruction.
- Record and rectify defects through the fleet maintenance process.
